The announcement made Tuesday evening, brings an end to the search for a new sportswear manufacturer, after FECAFOOT’s separation with ONE ALL SPORT seven months ago.
The federation indicated that its emergency committee “followed a rigorous evaluation process involving the recommendation of the Federation’s Internal Contract Award Commission and the thorough consideration of six bids.”
“The Cameroon Football Federation commends the calibre of the contractual commitments and the future collaboration with the FOURTEEN brand whose credibility and track record are exemplary” FECAFOOT said in its release.
The federation fell out with One All Sport after several disagreements. The kit supplier accused the football governing body of arbitrarily terminating their contract, while FECAFOOT said the brand did not respect the agreement.
After the separation, Cameroon had to play several matches including the AFCON qualifiers, using jerseys without a mark.
FECAFOOT has called on Cameroonians to “embrace” the new brand as a “coporate citizen responsibility.”
